Zijn landschappen kenmerken zich door een sfeer die aan het magisch realisme grenst. Aquarel is hierbij zijn favoriete techniek.<\/p><p>De laatste jaren is Fred voornamelijk landschapsschilder, met bewondering voor David Hockney, Edward Hopper en Edvard
