Pol &#8211; 1947<\/p><p>Een korte periode kunstacademie en diverse grafische opleidingen plus 49 jaar grafische ervaring vormen de voedingsbodem voor zijn inkt-pentekeningen en schilderijen, vooral het lijnenspel in de inkt-pentekeningen zijn typerend voor zijn grafische achtergrond, zo ook het kleurenpalet in de schilderijen en het fijn olieverf-schilderwerk op zijn paneeltjes, de doeken zijn geschilderd met olieverf in combinatie met hoog gepigmenteerde drukinkt op basis van minerale oli\u00ebn waardoor een intense kleurkracht wordt verkregen, met zijn potloodtekeningen wil hij terug naar de basis, de eenvoud van grafiet en papier.<\/p><p>Hoe verschillend de onderwerpen van zijn werk ook zijn, er is altijd een emotionele binding, herkenbaarheid en ruimte voor de kijker om een persoonlijke sfeer op te roepen, zijn grafisch oog zoekt altijd naar nieuwe wegen om die gevoelens vast te leggen in olieverf, potlood en inkt.
